Microsoft Visual Basic Unexpected Error 50001 Mac

Posted on  by admin

As I mentioned no problems in Mac 2011 providing a form with a custom cursor in any control is not loaded. OTH Mac 2011 crashes if a form is loaded that includes certain types of gif images originally added in Windows, yet no problem in Mac 2016 even to load and show such images. Any additional feedback? Then, go to the next step. If the problem seems to be resolved, you can move the Com.microsoft.Excel.plist file to the trash. Quit all Microsoft Office for Mac programs. On the Go menu, click Home. Open the Library folder. Note The Library folder is hidden in MAC OS X Lion. To display this folder, hold down the OPTION key while you click the Go.

Microsoft Visual Basic Unexpected Error 50001 Mac
I have a spreadsheet with many macros that have always worked fine. Then I installed Office 2011 on my new iMac (when the old one died), and now when I try to run a Macro I get the error message 'Microsoft Visual Basic Unexpected error; quitting' and when I close that dialog box I get another one 'Compile error: Can't find project or library'. I can call up the list of my macros after these initial error messages, but when I try to run one, I get the message 'Can't execute code in break mode'. If I try to edit a macro, I again get the message 'Microsoft Visual Basic Unexpected error; quitting'. The Visual Basic Editor will not open. Based on some Google searching, I tried reinstalling VBA for applications, then reinstalling all of Office, but the problem persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
